I Uploaded 10,000 AI Generated Images on Dreamstime for Sale. Here’s How Much Money I Made! (Shocking Results)

Have you ever wondered what happens if you upload thousands of AI made pictures to a stock photo website? I was curious too. So I gave myself a goal and stuck with it. Month after month I kept creating and uploading pictures. Some days it felt easy. Other days it felt like a long road. But slowly I built my way up. I kept watching the numbers grow and waited to see what would happen next.

Now I finally reached a big milestone. My Dreamstime account has 10,000 accepted AI images. That is ten thousand different pictures ready for people all over the world to download and use. In this post you will see exactly what I learned, how much money I made, and what you should know before you try this for yourself.

Why Dreamstime is Worth Trying?

Dreamstime is one of the easiest platforms to upload your images. The review process is very quick. Most of the time my pictures were approved in less than a day. That is faster than Adobe Stock or Freepik.

The acceptance rate is also higher. In the beginning I made mistakes because I uploaded without checking. That lowered my overall rate to 77 percent. But if you are careful, most of your images will get approved.

Another good part is that your pictures do not have to be exclusive. This means you can upload the same images on Adobe Stock, Freepik, and Dreamstime at the same time. Around 80 percent of my uploads are the same across all three sites.

The only extra thing you need to do on Dreamstime is write descriptions along with titles and keywords. I used ChatGPT to create them, so it was not much work.

How Much I Earned from Downloads?

Dreamstime pays you in different ways depending on the type of download. Sometimes you get thirty four cents. Other times you get three dollars for a single image. It depends on the customer plan and image level.

So far I have had 523 downloads. This gave me about 475 dollars in total. On average that is 87 cents per download. I am happy with this. But when you look at it against my 10,000 images, the number of downloads seems a bit low.

I asked other people about their results and found out this is normal. Some contributors even get fewer downloads. The ones who do very well usually have accounts that are five years old or more. It takes time to build trust on the platform.

The good thing is that your old pictures do not stop selling. The images you upload today can keep earning for many years. Adobe Stock and Freepik often give quicker results but the sales drop if you stop uploading. Dreamstime is better for long term passive income.

Comparing to Other Stock Sites

Every site works in its own way. Here is how I see the differences.

Adobe Stock
This site takes longer to approve your images and has more competition. But the earnings per download are high. With 1,000 accepted images you can start seeing sales in about two weeks. Even with only a few downloads per week, you may still earn good money. My downloads here range from 33 cents to over three dollars each.

Freepik
This site accepts AI images easily and you can start with just 200 uploads. The downloads come quickly. With 1,000 images you might get 50 downloads in a week. But the big drawback is the low pay. You only earn about three cents per download.

Dreamstime
This site is the best for fast approval and high acceptance. You can upload up to 7,000 images per week if you want. You do need to write descriptions, but it is simple. The real benefit is that your uploads keep making money for years. It is not a quick win, but a stable one.

Final Thoughts

My plan is to upload another 10,000 images by the end of this year. If that brings me around 70 dollars a week, that is enough to cover my AI tools and maybe more.

If you want to start, do not just stick to one site. Upload to many platforms. Use AI tools to write your titles and descriptions. Learn how to bulk upload with CSV files to save time.

It is not magic money, but it can be a steady income stream if you keep going.
