The free AI tool we’re talking about today is non other than ElevenLabs. Yeah, I know most of you have heard about it and probably used it as well, but I can bet you, you haven’t utilized it’s full power yet.
To those who don’t know about ElevenLabs, it is an AI text-to-speech converter tool. You can type text into this tool and it will generate a human-like voice over for you!
It is a freemium tool and with it’s free version, you can convert 10,000 words into audio every month. If you want to convert more characters, then you need to either upgrade your plan or you can sign up with a different email account to get another 10,000 words conversion for free!
How is This Tool Making People Money?
As I said, it’s a tool that can generate human-like voiceovers from text. The voiceovers generated through this tool can be used to create YouTube videos, online courses, Instagram reels, TikTok’s and more. In this post, I’ll talk about using it to create YouTube videos and online courses.
There are probably millions of channels (both long-form and short-form video creating channels) that are utilizing this tool to create voiceover for their videos. And those channels are getting millions of views every month and piling stacks of cash. The best part is, you don’t have to show your face to create such videos nor your voice and you can start multiple channels at the same time and create content for them.
How You Can Make Money with This Tool?
We’ll discuss two most profitable ways to make money using this tool. One being creating YouTube videos and the other one being creating and selling an online course.
1. Making Money on YouTube
You can create faceless YouTube videos using ElevenLabs and monetize them to make money. To do that, first you need to find a good niche to get into. Find out a niche that has high growth potential and whose entire content creation process can be done using AI tools.
You can either start a YouTube Shorts channel or a channel that creates long-form content. After you find out a good niche, you need to setup your channel. You can use ChatGPT to come up with a good name and create the logo and banner for your channel using pre-made templates on Canva.
Now, it’s time for the main part, creating content. You can again use ChatGPT to come up with video ideas and generate an engaging script for your video. After your script is ready, take it to ElevenLabs to turn it into voiceover.

From here, you need to go to the ‘Text to Speech’ option at top-left of your screen. Then, a work interface like this opens up.
Here, you need to paste your script, select the voice you want and adjust the settings as you need and click on ‘Generate Speech’ to create your voiceover. The voice settings differs from voice actor to voice actor so, I can’t suggest you a setting for it. You need to test and try it yourself. If you don’t want the hassle, you can leave it and generate your voiceover. Even without changing the settings, the voiceover comes out great.
After your voiceover is ready, take it to a video editing software and edit it by adding relevant clips, sounds effects, transitions and more to create a complete video that you can post on YouTube. If you don’t have any idea of video editing, then you can learn to use a simple video editing tool like CapCut in less than an hour and edit your videos in it.
Now, your video is ready, all you need to do is, post it on your channel. Be consistent with your posting schedule and be patient for the results to arrive. After you start getting views, you can monetize your channel with ads, affiliate marketing, sponsorships and more.
2. Creating an Online Course
Another profitable way to make money with this tool is by creating and selling an online course. To do so, find out a topic you’re good at and have some experience at. It can be anything from starting a money making blog to drawing, improving handwriting, etc.
After you’ve found a topic to create your course on, use ChatGPT to come up with the outline of your course. You can ChatGPT again to create video scripts for your course, but make sure to edit and re-write the script yourself to make it genuinely helpful and informative.
Then, take your finalized script to ElevenLabs to turn in into voiceover. It may take some time to create voiceover for an entire course, but you need to do it only once. So, be patient and focus on your work.
After your voiceover is ready, take it to a video editing software and use stock videos and simple animations as visuals for your course. You can also use screen recording or explain your course topics using presentations without needing to show your face.
When you finish completing your course, you can either sell it on platforms like Udemy and Coursera or you can setup a simple website using Payhip to sell your course. Then, all you need to do is, promote your course to generate sales and make money.
