Step 1: Sign Up for These Two Free AI Tools
The first thing you need to do is, sign up for two free AI tools. It’s super easy to create an account on these platforms and it’s completely free!
- ChatGPT: Go to Chatgpt.com and click on the “Sign Up” button at the top right if you don’t already have an account. Create your account, and you’re good to go! If you already have an account, then just log into it.
- ElevenLabs: Now, head on to Elevenlabs.io and click “Try for Free” button. Then, you can sign up with your Google account, and it’ll take just a few seconds to set up. If you ready have an account, just log in.
Step 2: Adding a Plugin in ChatGPT
Now, go to ChatGPT and click on “Explore GPTs.” Then, type the word “video” into the search bar. After doing that, you should see a plugin called Video Summarizer. Click on it, and then click on “Start Chat.”
This plugin will help you in summarizing YouTube videos. Just wait and watch, how helpful it turns out to be.
Step 3: Pick a YouTube Video
Here’s where the magic starts! Go to YouTube and pick any video you like. For this example, I’ll use a random video from this kids’ channel called Danny Go.
Once you pick your video, copy it’s URL. Now, go back to ChatGPT and paste the video link into the Video Summarizer. Then, ChatGPT will work it’s magic and summarize the video for you. Once the video is summarized, you can then ask ChatGPT to transcribe it. What this will do is, ChatGPT will write down everything that was said in the video, adding timestamps every 15 seconds.

Step 4: Translate the Video
Now, this is where it gets even better. After ChatGPT finishes transcribing the video, you can ask it to translate the entire transcription into any language you want!(here I’ll translate this video into Spanish). ChatGPT can translate writing into 58 languages. Even after transcribing the video, ChatGPT will keep the timestamps intact, which will be so much helpful for us.
You might wonder, but why are we doing all this? Here’s the reason: A lot of YouTubers want to translate their videos into other languages, but they don’t have the time or right tools to do it. YouTube does have auto-translations, but let’s face it, those translations aren’t always great. So, what you’re doing is, offering a much better, human-like translation services to YouTubers.
Step 5: Turning the Text into Speech
At this point, we have the transcription in Spanish. So now, we’ll convert it into speech. For this, we’ll use ElevenLabs. First, go to the ElevenLabs and click on “Text to Speech” button to get started. Then, paste the Spanish transcription into the text box and choose a voice you want. Then, click on “Generate Speech” to generate the speech.
The AI will now create an audio file of the transcription being read aloud in Spanish. You can download this file and save it on your computer. Repeat this step for the rest of the video’s transcription if you’re generating 15 seconds of transcription at a time or you can convert the entire transcription into voice at once. It’s totally upon you!

Step 6: Edit the Video with CapCut
Next, we’re going to edit the video. Download CapCut (it’s free & works on both mobile and computer), and open it. Then, downalod the original YouTube video and open it on CapCut. After that, right-click on the video and choose “Extract Audio.” Doing this will separate the audio from the video.
Next, use the Vocal Isolation feature in CapCut. To do that, click on the audio file and select “Remove Vocal.” This will remove the original voice from the video, leaving just the background music and sound effects in it.
Step 7: Add the Translated Audio to the Video
Now, that you’ve removed the original voice, it’s time to add the Spanish(translated) audio you created. Upload the Spanish audio file into CapCut, and sync it to the video. Keep doing this for all the audio files you created earlier. If it’s a single file, you need to do it only once.
The reason I told you to break the audio down into smaller parts is, because it makes syncing the audio a lot more easier. You don’t want to mess up the timing, so this method is super helpful when there are parts of the video with no speaking (just music or silence).
Step 8: Export and Upload the Video
Once everything is completed, export the video from CapCut. After that, go to YouTube and upload the video, but make sure to set it as unlisted. This way, it won’t show up on YouTube for everyone, but the YouTuber you’re working for can easily watch it.

Step 9: Offer the Service to YouTubers
At this point, the video is ready. Now, it’s time to find YouTubers who might need your help in translating their videos. To find such YouTubers, you can use a website called Channel Crawler. Go to this website and search for YouTube channels based on things like category, country, or number of subscribers.
Once you find a channel that you think, might need your help, you can reach out to them and offer your services. You can find their contact email in their channel description. In the mail, you can say something like, “Hey, I’ve translated your video in English language into Spanish as a free sample. Let me know if you’d like me to do the same for other videos on your channel!” After doing this, they will get back to you if they need your services.
Step 10: Send Emails to YouTubers
When you’ve found a YouTuber you want to work with, send them a friendly email. Don’t worry about sounding too formal; just be polite and offer them your services. You can ask ChatGPT to help you write the email in a nice, professional way.
YouTubers are always looking for ways to grow their channels, and offering translation services is a big help. They’ll appreciate how much better your translation is compared to YouTube’s auto-translations.
Step 11: Get Paid for Your Work
If the YouTuber accepts your offer, then you can start getting paid. Many YouTubers, like MrBeast, have made tons of money by translating their videos into other languages. If you can find and offer your services to several YouTubers, then you’ll definitely land a job. Yeah, maybe 3-4 YouTubers out of 100 may say YES to your offer, but still you’ll make money. So, the more YouTubers you can reach out to, the more money you can make.
Don’t expect things to be easy at first, but if you keep reaching out to more YouTubers and offering to translate their videos, the money will start rolling in. If you get a “no,” don’t give up. Keep going, and eventually, someone will say “yes.”
Optional: Use a Dedicated AI Tool for Even Faster Results
If you want to speed up this entire process, then there’s another AI tool called Rasque.ai. All you need to do is, upload a video and Rasque will translate it and sync the voice for you! How cool is that?
Conclusion
So, there you have it! This is a super simple way to make money by translating YouTube videos. The best part is, you don’t need any followers or experience to get started. Just keep reaching out to YouTubers, offering your translation service, and soon enough, you’ll start making money.
I know it might seem like a lot of work, but trust me, it’s worth it. Now go ahead and try it for yourself!
